Jerry L. Hoffman
Hoffman Strategy Group
Jerry Hoffman is the owner of Hoffman Strategy Group (HSG), an urban retail and lifestyle consulting firm that has three client groups: developers/owners, entrepreneurs/start-ups, and municipalities/economic development organizations.
Hoffman Strategy Group provides project feasibility insights to commercial real estate developers and property owners regarding retailers, restaurants, grocers, hotels, and mix of other tenants that are supportable in a given market. Condominium, apartment, and senior housing developers use our analysis to convert cornfields to master planned communities and urban areas into mixed use lifestyle centers.
Entrepreneurs on the cutting-edge of next-generation concept retail stores, restaurants, and hotels include Hoffman Strategy Group as a member of their team to provide insights on customer lifestyle profiling, site selection and trade area determination, price differentiation strategies, and new store expansion planning.
Municipalities and economic development organizations use Hoffman Strategy Group’s feasibility studies to form city-wide, downtown, and neighborhood retail and mixed use master plans and implementation strategies. Our estimates of the impact on retail sales tax revenues associated with new retail and mixed use development are useful to this client group. HSG’s strategy services are used in city-wide marketing materials that support retailer and developer recruitment efforts.
Mr. Hoffman’s professional experiences are guided by a long-held belief that the constant shaping of the marketplace is driven by the synergy of people and ideas.
